Business Services
The goal of Business Services is to administer the business affairs of the district in such a way as to provide the best possible educational services with the financial resources available. The areas of responsibility include transportation, legislation, compiling the district budget, completion of the levy process, preparing the audited Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, processing payables, receivables, payroll and district employee benefits.

Any individual who observes, detects or suspects improper use of taxpayer funds can report suspected fraud or waste to the MN Department of Education Office of the Inspector General by calling 1-833-819-8090 or visiting the MN Department of Education Office of Inspector General website or the US Department of Education Office of the Inspector General by calling 1-800-647-8733 or visiting the US Department of Education Office of Inspector General website.
According to the U.S. Department of Education Office of the Inspector General’s website, “the OIG Hotline is available for anyone who knows of or suspects fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, or violations of laws and regulations involving U.S. Department of Education funds or programs. This includes allegations of suspected wrongdoing by Department employees, contractors, grantees, schools and school officials, persons in positions of trust involving Department funds or programs, collection agencies, recipients of student financial assistance, or lending institutions. If you have knowledge of any wrongdoing involving Department funds or operations, let us know!”
This notice is in compliance with Section 9203 of the Elementary and Secondary Education act which requires that recipients of a grant of subgrant under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 display contact information in a public place.
